There are many areas in life that one can serve, and it's my belief, that he or she will find his or her passion in serving, while others desire to be served.
"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth." ~ Mohammed Ali
Whenever one is called on to serve, he or she should serve faithfully, for one never know when he or she will be a blessing to another, or an inspiration, especially to our youth. One should serve heartily, as if his or her life depends on it.
“You, my brothers and sisters, were chosen to be free. Be careful that you do not please your old selves by sinning because you are free. Live this free life by loving and helping others.” ~ Galatians 5:13
To be served is common in some households, especially those of the rich and famous, where the man or maidservants serve, or wait on his or her master or mistress; doing for them what they can, but sometimes fail to do for themselves…
Being helpful is a form of service; and, since the beginning of time, one cannot get through life without being helpful to, or obtain some kind of assistance from another.
“I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.” ~ William Penn
