If you need to boost your confidence, then using positive thinking can be an effective way to make a difference in not only how you see life but also your opinion of yourself. 

Here are seven strategies for building confidence using positive thinking: 

  1. Use positive self-talk to remind yourself of your strengths and celebrate your accomplishments.
  2. Repeat positive self-affirmations to instill more confidence in yourself. Start and end your day with these positive statements that boost confidence
  3. Watch confident people and mirror their actions. Having positive role models can teach you how to build confidence in yourself.
  4. Create a library of media that makes you feel confident about yourself. When you need a boost, you can read an article or book, listen to a podcast, or watch a video to help you feel more positive toward yourself.
  5. Accept yourself for all your strengths and weaknesses. Confidence comes when you accept all parts of yourself, and you learn to love who you really are.
  6. Use images and mental visualizations to see yourself as happy and loved. When you see a version of yourself that enjoys confidence and acceptance, you will be more likely to strive for this reality.
  7. Celebrate your successes, no matter how big or small. Learn to be proud of your accomplishments.
