SKIN & HAIR CARE PRODUCTS CAN MAKE YOU FAT! As strange as it sound it is exactly what this study shows may indeed be the case and the reason you cannot lose weight or keep it off once you had.

Phthalates in Cosmetics, Hair and Skin Care Products Directly Linked to Diabetes in Women & to Creating Obesity.

The infamous phthalates are under fire again. Previous research has linked phthalates to a decrease in mental and motor development, and weight gain in children & adults.
Just to give you an idea of how prevalent phthalates are in personal care products, in early 2012, Canadian researchers found diethyl phthalate (DEP) in almost all the personal care products they surveyed. (Sisel products are totally free of phthalates & perhaps the only line in the world that may be)

A new study published in the Environmental Health Perspectives found urinary levels of several phthalates were associated with prevalent diabetes (July 13, 2012).
Researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) utilized data from CDC-analyzed urinary concentrations of phthalate metabolites and self-reported diabetes in 2,350 women ages 20 to 80 participating to estimate odds ratios at 95 percent confidence in accuracy. A secondary analysis was conducted in women without diabetes to evaluate the association between phthalate metabolite concentrations.
The study found that women with higher levels of phthalates had a significant increase in rates of diabetes compared to women with the lowest levels of these phthalates. Women in the highest levels of phthalates almost twice the incidences of diabetes compared to women in the lowest range. Certain phthalate metabolites were positively associated with fasting glucose and insulin resistance resulting in significant weight gain, creating metabolic syndrome and inability to lose weight effectively under diet or exercise programs.

Sisel Safe products, says Tom Mower President of Sisel International are phthalate free but also free of serious toxins that almost all other cosmetic and personal care products sold by other companies contain. In particular the phthalate free Sisel products, while greatly supporting the potential of much better health, while reducing risks of cancers, is what Tom Mower believes gives women, and perhaps men too, a great advantage is losing weight rapidly and safely.

With SiseLEAN and Sisels other weight loss products, the affects on a phthalate free biology may be another major reason why Sisels weight loss products work so incredibly well. Without phthalates creating tremendous resistance to weight loss being present, the SiseLEAN can support rapid weight loss like Sisel researchers believe can never be attained by any other product line in existence.
